With my time being there I have had a great experience learning new things and gaining more professional skills. Every employee I have worked with is super helpful and they all create a positive atmosphere. Since being there I have worked on a few projects which has really helped me excel and helped me improve on a wide range of skills that will be very helpful in the future.

During my internship, I have acquired a diverse set of skills through shadowing various departments within the medical center and assisting them with projects. A significant portion of my responsibilities has involved supporting the mental health department, where I have been actively involved in several projects. Primarily, I have been tasked with collecting and analyzing data to ensure adherence to departmental protocols and to guarantee that our veterans receive appropriate care. Additionally, I have played a role in coordinating patient care by assigning doctors to examine specific cases and ensuring the timely completion of post-appointment documentation. Through these experiences, I have refined my abilities in data analysis, project coordination, and attention to detail, all of which are essential skills in the healthcare field.

with colleagues, and learned to respond promptly to tasks and inquiries from supervisors.
